About us

The new Iffley Turn Practice sees the coming together of two well established and successful therapy centres under the directorship of three Oxford Osteopaths, Tom and Summeara Bedford and Ben Ousey.  In 2005, Tom and Summeara Bedford set up St Clements Osteopathy & Massage at 51 St Clements Street, Oxford. This practice quickly established an excellent local reputation for helping people manage pain and for giving honest, straightforward advice. As the practice expanded they were joined by fellow osteopaths Ben Ousey and Corinne McLardy Smith. Due to the continuing success of the St Clements practice, eventually the time came to expand and to purchase larger premises in East Oxford.

In 2017 the practice moved from St Clements Street to 3 Church Cowley Road onto the site of what had previously been the Oxford Natural Health Clinic*; a well known centre of excellence for Acupuncture and talking therapies. This exciting expansion gave the practice much more space and more practitioners, offering a wider variety of therapies. There was also a new practice name: The Iffley Turn Practice, reflecting the new location just off the Iffley Road, Oxford.

At the Iffley Turn Practice our aim is to help our clients manage their health as effectively as possible by providing them with a multidisciplinary therapy centre that offers a comprehensive and holistic approach to health. Welcome to our clinic...
