Originally from South America and with a background in Sociology, I hold an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London, one of the leading clinical and academic institutions for psychotherapy in the UK. In addition, I have trained as a Sophrology and Relaxation Practitioner which gives me the knowledge and skills to work with the embodied experience to help with emotional regulation.
I have worked as a therapist in different agencies, in the third sector and the NHS, with a diverse client population around issues of trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem, discrimination, i
dentity issues, among others. I am experienced in working with people who have migrated, are of mixed cultural heritage, part of the LGBTQI+ community, neurodivergent or highly sensitive.
I am a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and I am bound by its Ethical Framework for good practice.
Sessions available in English, Spanish or French, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. I work at the Iffley Turn Practice on Fridays.
