Been suffering with a lower back pain for about 18 months on and off started to get more frequent so booked an appointment with Tom very professional made me feel really relaxed and talked through every process with lots of information I had 3 appointments and with some home stretch routines to do my back feels amazing thank you Tom so much

I can't remember when I had my first visit to the practice and saw Tom. What I can remember, however, is the amount of pain I was experiencing and the relief after just one session. After one or two more sessions I was pain free. Prior to visiting Tom, I had been to a number of other practitioners where the treatment seemed to go on forever. Tom is excellent at explaining the cause of pain, what he is doing to resolve the pain and what I need to do after the session to improve my recovery. Apart from his professional skills Tom is a very warm emphatic individual who has a natural ability to create an atmosphere of calm and confidence in the midst of whatever agony a patient might be experiencing. I would highly recommend him and the practice. I have visited since he opened after lockdown and I can confidently say that the practice has taken every precaution possible to ensure risks are well managed.

It's was amazing. Huge thank for Corrine. She has helped me to back do things i love running and playing football after several years of back pain . I think she got magic hand .She was very kind and professional. The receptionist was very helpful. I will highly recommended her.

I asked Chris to unknot my back and he did just that. Very helpful suggestions for exercises too. Would thoroughly recommend.

I came to Emily initially to help with anxiety and insomnia, and after each session I always feel much calmer and relaxed. Although not my original intention when coming for acupuncture, she has helped regulate my menstrual cycle which has been totally irregular for over 20 years as I have PCOS. In the 8 months since I started seeing her I have regularly had a period each month - it’s incredible! I couldn’t recommend her treatments highly enough, she has such a warm, calm and caring character and makes you feel totally at ease. I am totally converted to acupuncture and think the benefits of it are amazing!

This feedback for Tom Bedford is 12 years late, but maybe all the better for it because of the long-term benefit I've experienced. Tom treated me in 2007 for lower back pain. I was prone to back spasms, usually leading to at least a fortnight's pain and discomfort, which could be quite severe. Three years of chiropractic treatment had brought only temporary periods of relief. After two visits for treatment, Tom uttered the memorable words "I'm going to free you from the clutches of treatment." He taught me simple stretches to do morning and night and we talked about back management. Since then, my painful episodes have been much less frequent and also less severe. I returned to playing cricket, which I had feared I would have to give up because my back felt too vulnerable. I do the stretches religiously and have not needed to return for any further treatment. I owe Tom many thanks indeed!

Thank you so much, Summeara, this was brilliant. Summeara was professional, friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly an expert. I decided to book an appointment with her as none of us are getting any younger (I'm 62) and I was beginning to experience a few aches and pains after gardening, housework or being on my feet all day at work. She gave excellent treatment and sound advice and suggested I see a massage therapist every three or four months. I felt much better immediately - my joints felt so much freer and even my teenage daughter noticed I was 'walking taller'!

I saw Summeara and oh my! What a difference she made. The Iffley Turn Practice was recommended to me by colleagues. I came to the surgery with a very sore back, painful to be more precise. I could hardly walk. After just one treatment I was able to walk properly. I would recommend ITP and Summeara to everyone.

Absolutely amazing! After visiting my GP for back pain and almost giving up thinking nothing could be done about it I visited iffley turn practise. I was able to get a same day appointment which was fantastic. I was slightly nervous but was made to feel at complete ease by Tom who was so professional and understanding and knew exactly what was the problem. He talked me through and explained everything. I have never needed any form of " Osteopathy", until recently. I had suffered a stiff lower back on and off for 6-8wks, as the problem was not getting better, I made an appointment with St Clements Osteopathy Practice. The problem was identified on my first visit and treated straight away, the results were immediate and after 2 visits my stiff back was no more. Thank you for a very, very professional service

I have had lower back problems for 8 years. I have been suffering with stiffness and muscular pain. I was recommended by a friend to see Tom Bedford, the osteopath on St Clements Street, Oxford. I have had four session with the osteopath and feel a lot better. I have no pain it is an great improvement, thank you!

After more than 3 years of back pain and several unsuccessful treatments I took a course of osteopathy after seeing the window display on my way to university, after just 3 treatments my back pain is almost totally gone, I highly recommend this practice

Thank you for sorting out my neck - after months of a dull headache I'd begun to accept it as normal. But a few treatments have made an enormous difference and I really am grateful.

I started seeing Tom in 2008 for lower back pain and tight neck and shoulders. After the first session I felt immediate relief. After several sessions I now see him every couple of months or so for a top up treatment. Tom always takes time to listen to what I have to say and understands immediately the often odd descriptions of symptoms I give him. The whole experience from start to finish is professional, friendly and most importantly for me you feel you are in a safe pair of hands. I would (and have) recommend the practice for anyone with back and joint problems. Tom truly has magic hands.

I had really bad shoulder pain for about 3 months, I went to see Tom and after 3 sessions I'm now pain free!

After helping relatives move, I had a trapped nerve in my upper vertebrae which massage had not addressed. The pinched nerve had severely limited my head movement and caused serious pain. Two sessions with Tom and I was back in great shape. A wonderful investment!

The BBC World Service has just lost a local listener! Severe pain in my left leg and hip had been waking me up at 2.00 or 3.00 am for days, and the only relief I could get was by sitting bolt upright or standing for hours. The World Service engaged my mind while the muscle spasms slowly relaxed, but one session with Tom brought longer lasting relief, and I was able to sleep through the night again. A second session appears to have resolved the problem. My thanks to the BBC, but most especially to Tom.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Tom Bedford for sorting my back problems couldn't walk more than ten minutes and it was so uncomfortable thanks to tom I'm able to walk better without any pain at all. i definitely will recommend you to my colleagues thank you very much once again

I had had neck and lower back pain for many years being unable to stand for any length of time. After 1 session with Tom Bedford the neck pain went and after 3 sessions the back pain has gone too. Thank you Tom.
