Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) and Tennis Elbow are the same thing - an overstrain of the tendons of the forearm that leads to pain around the outside of the elbow joint. This pain is often worse when lifting or carrying, for example, picking up a kettle or pan of water.

Nearly all of the cases of RSI/Tennis Elbow that our Osteopaths in Oxford treat are not due to playing tennis!

Those same tendons are used when typing on a computer keyboard and if they become inflammed they can cause pain in the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand.

Osteopathic treatment usually involves deep muscular work into the tendons, combined with advice and exercises.
